Buildspect updates its name

Buildspect has announced that it will be changing it's name to Buildspect Consulting Pty Ltd, according to Chief Commercial Officer John Coghlan.

Buildspect is one of Victoria’s oldest and most respected building consultancies.  The announcement has come as part of a review of the company's external image.  "This name change signals a forward step in the way we view ourselves and interact with our clients." Mr Coghlan said.  "We wanted to update our name to something that would allow us to keep the strong branding position we hold in the market, but reflect a new level of professionalism we aim to provide to our clients".

Buildspect Consulting began life in 1962 as John Coghlan & Associates Pty Ltd, when John Coghlan (Senior) began providing his services as an expert witness in building disputes.  Since 1990 the company has been know as Coghlan Lorich Associates, then Buildspect & Co and now Buildspect Consulting.

The Buildspect group of companies also includes a pest and termite business, Buildspect Pest & Termite Services Pty Ltd.
