This building consultancy practice was established by John R. Coghlan in 1965 and has served the community and the building industry continuously since then. After a long period of service as an associate, Robert Lorich was admitted to partnership in July 1991 and the name of the practice changed to Coghlan Lorich Associates Pty Ltd. It has been changed again just recently to Buildspect & Co Pty Ltd.
Since then further consultants have been recruited and have joined the company. A CV of each of our staff is attached.
The practice provides a complete, independent and professional service in all aspects of Building Consulting. We are increasing and expanding our services.
We are a Corporate Member of the Australian Society of Building Consultants and all of our consultants are members. We encourage our staff to participate in the Society’s Continuing Professional Development program and many have qualified for the additional letters after their qualifications of - CPC.
Our staff are very experienced in carrying out all types of inspections of buildings. All have extensive building experience and general experience of Building Consulting matters. Individual consultants specialise in particular aspects of building problems. All are experienced in preparing information for litigation and in giving evidence to Tribunals and Courts.
