Services for owner builders

Buildspect has been assisting owner builders with stage and warranty inspections for more than 40 years.

If you are purchasing a home constructed by an owner builder, or if you are an owner builder, you will need an Owner Builder Warranty Inspection report prior to sale.

An Owner Builder Warranty Inspection report is required if the home was built, completed or altered by an owner builder within 6.5 years from the date of completion in accordance with Section 137B of the Building Act 1993.

The report must be completed prior to signing a contract of sale and must be prepared by a prescribed practitioner. All our inspectors are recognised by House Inspection Services Pty Ltd, giving you peace of mind that you are in experienced, professional hands.
